maybe i like pattern too much?

I have been trying to focus on my use of colour within my work. For these designs I have taken my inspiration from Marni's 2010 collection. I think its working well for me at the moment however, it will be hard to achieve these colours on fabric using acid and procion dyes.

My last project (at uni anyway)

I have been working on my final major project for about 3 weeks now and i'm enjoying it so much more then last term. I think this is because I know more about what I want to achieve. My project is based around a similar theme as last term, which was Drawing from contemporary furniture. I am taking this idea forward by drawing from similar objects however, I am also drawing from museums and general house hold items. I am wanting to see how drawing from different decades of furniture and home-ware effects my style and drawings. I am still designing prints for interiors.

I thought that it was important to lay out my prints together to show that they can work well as a set and aside each other. You are also able to see the range of designs and definition between sets of prints.
